Primaire progressie is een progressietechniek waarbij het MC ongeveer met 1 graad per jaar wordt doorgeschoven. Vervolgens worden de progressieve standen geprojecteerd op de radix.

Op zaterdag 8 september 2012 organiseert Opleidingscentrum Ishtar een workshop om kennis te maken met de astrologie. Tijdens deze workshop van 10 tot 15 uur wordt uitgelegd wat astrologie is en wordt er een korte uitleg gegeven van de horoscoopfactoren waar een astroloog mee werkt. Dit zijn de dierenriemtekens met hun onderverdeling in elementen en kruizen, planeten en huizen. Na de lunch gaan we ook kijken naar de eigen horoscoop.

Deze ASASdag wordt een dag vol zelfwaardering en zelfbepaling. Nu de waarde die we toe hebben gekend aan de economie ontmaskerd wordt en we terug geworpen worden op onze innerlijke waarde, is het voor de astroloog belangrijk om te weten wat we onszelf en onze cliënten kunnen bieden in de ontdekking van ons eigen innerlijk goud.

In de ochtend zullen we een zoektocht maken om het goud te delven en onze inspiratie te activeren, de middag is gevuld met een workshop van Lynn Bell. Lynn is astrologe, woont in Frankrijk en geeft les in London, is schrijfster van boeken (o.a. over solar return en Mars).

Moon-Mercury aspects do not make headlines in astrology and do not get as much attention as the other ‘big players’ in the chart.  They seem benign to most astrologers who, naturally, tend to focus on the drama of the heavy planets.

“Merkavah & Hekhalot” mysticism is a fascinating, yet little known Jewish mystical tradition and a forerunner of the famous Kabbalah doctrine, where astrology, cosmology and the personal spiritual experience converged. The roots of this ancient thought is in the early centuries when Gnosticism and Neo-Platonism were on the rise. It is a theoretical and practical expression of the human yearning to reach beyond the veil of the unknown and see the Divine.

In our time, Jewish Mysticism is identified with the later school of Kabbalah. This appears to be monolithic and its public image is presented as new-age modern spirituality. In the attempt to modernize it, it has been “psychologized” and humanized - similar to what happened to astrology in the 20th century – catering to the individual quest for personal enlightenment and self-Improvement. Certain Kabbalistic concepts are even presented as the original cosmology of the modern scientific idea of the Big Bang in astrophysics. This lecture will explain all these ideas and trace their roots as well as their historical and social impact.
